It was a sequel in which Zenith played with a man less. The Russian championship has already begun, and Zenit is the only leader in the league after 4 wins in the first 4 rounds.
Norwegian Molde
Molde finished second in the Norwegian last season. In the last season’s participation in the Europa League in the season 2015/2016, the team not only participated in the groups but even came out of them and played a 1/16 final against Sevilla where they dropped out after winning and losing. This year’s participation in the Molde Race started in the first qualifying round. There, the team lost 1:2 to Glenavon, but won a 5:1 home game. Two victories followed in a second round with 2:0 and 3:0 against Alcian Lachi. In the third round Molde made 0:0 as a guest of the Scottish Hibernian and won the rematch home with 3:0. At the moment the Norwegian championship is in full swing, and Molde is currently in fourth place.
Zenit started with a nightmare loss from Dynamo Minsk but crushed his opponent in the match as host. The Russian team is quite experienced already in Europe and for another year is about to join the groups. For now, Molde is performing well in the race, but he will now have his most serious test to date. The Norwegians hope to play again in the groups, as they did three years ago, but this time we expect Zenit to do it, and we are predicting a victory for the Russians.
